This manifested itself in an uncanny knack for making his guests feel comfortable and secure.

 | Hugh Parkey's Belize Adventure Lodge is located on privately owned Spanish Look-Out Caye, just 25 minutes from Belize City and a short distance from the barrier reef. The Belize Adventure Lodge is a full service facility offering individual cabanas over the water, comfortable student dormitory, restaurant, bar, PADI dive shop, gift shop, as well as meeting and classroom facilities for vacationers, educational and incentive groups. A natural lagoon just under 4 acres in size is home to captive born Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins and to Belize's first Dolphin Encounter program. |

Hugh Parkey's Dolphin Experience is Belize;s first and only Dolphin Encounter program with captive born Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin at home in a natural lagoon at Belize Adventure Lodge on Spanish Look-Out Caye. The program promotes a fun, safe and educational interaction with resident dolphins, encouraging a greater understanding of these magnificent mammals, hopefully leading to a more active role in marine conservation.

Established in January of 2003 after Hugh's passing, The Hugh Parkey Foundation for Marine Awareness & Education provides marine educational opportunities for thousands of Belizean children each year. The programs combine classroom curriculum, with activities and field trips to Spanish Look-Out Caye to experience and appreciate the phenomenal natural marine resources at their doorstep.
